About us

More than 150 staff work at the British Consulate-General in Hong Kong providing a variety of services and dealing with a range of requests from the general public.

The passport and visa teams help thousands of people every week apply for and renew their travel documents. Our commercial teams work to bring British and Hong Kong businesses together and to help Hong Kong companies interested in investing in the UK. Our consular team cover everything from all aspects of registration (births, death, marriage) and nationality issues, to offering advise and help to British nationals in emergency situations.
